Homestay Application Procedure For TAFE NSW Students Aged Under 18 Years Old
For U18 TAFE NSW, follow these steps when applying for our homestay
Once you complete your application to study at TAFE NSW, TAFE NSW will refer your application to one of their approved Homestay and Caregiving providers. Once we receive your referral from TAFE NSW, Study Vision will email instructions on how to apply for Study Vision's homestay and caregiving service
Student/Parents/Agent submit an Accommodation Placement Application to Study Vision online.
Note: Underage students studying at TAFE NSW are required by TAFE NSW to book an Airport Transfer service with their homestay provider whenever they arrive in Australia.
Study Vision issues an invoice for the Accommodation Placement Fee, Airport Transfer Fee, Guardianship Application Fee and 4 weeks Rental and Guardianship to the student.

Please email the proof of payment to Study Vision once your payment is done
Study Vision sends an Accommodation & Airport Transfer Agreement, including the Homestay Family Profile, to the student
Student and parents sign the Accommodation & Airport Transfer Agreement on the last page, and the return the full Agreement, including all pages, to Study Vision
After receiving your signed agreement, Study Vision will confirm with TAFE NSW that the Accommodation & Airport Transfer has been organised, and that TAFE NSW can issue the COE & CAAW.
Student submits their visa application to the Australian Government
The Australian Government grants a visa to the student
Student books their flight to Australia.
Please note, all underage students studying at TAFE NSW are required by TAFE NSW to book an Airport Transfer service with their homestay provider whenever they arrive in Australia, and whenever they will be returning to their home country.
Student informs Study Vision that they have received their visa and confirms their flight details
Study Vision issues an airport pickup confirmation to the student
Your homestay is now booked and waiting for your arrival.
Note: While students are staying in a Study Vision arranged homestay, their rental will be managed by Study Vision. The Student will be invoiced for their continuing Rental every 4 weeks, until the student leaves the Homestay. The student should not pay any money directly to the homestay host.
Study Vision will send the student an invoice at least 2 weeks before payment is due. This invoice needs to be paid on time, to make sure that the student can continue staying at this homestay.

Note regarding Airport Transfers: Underage students studying at TAFE NSW or TAFE NSW Foundation Program are required to have approved transport arrangements whenthey in Australia. Study Vision will include an Airport Pickup Fee in the initial invoice.
