Homestay Application Procedure For UNSW College Students Aged Under 18 Years Old

For U18 UNSW college students, follow these steps when applying for our homestay

Submit your Application

Student/Parents/Agent submit an Accommodation Placement Application to Study Vision online.

Please note, all underage students studying at UNSW College are required by UNSW College to book an Airport Transfer service with their homestay provider for when they arrive in Australia.

Invoice sent by Study Vision

Study Vision issues an invoice for accommodation placement, airport pick up and 4 weeks Rental and Internet Fees to the student

Proof of Payment

After paying the invoice, the student sends proof of payment to Study Vision

Receipt issued

Study Vision issues a receipt to the student and informs UNSW College that payment has been received

CAAW Request Form sent

Student submits the UNSW College CAAW Request Form and Study Vision's receipt to UNSW College

COE/CAAW issued

UNSW College issues the Student's COE and CAAW

Visa Application is made

Student submits their visa application to the Australian Government

Visa is Granted

The Australian Government grants a visa to the student

Flight is Booked

Student books their flight to Australia.

Please note, all U18 students must have approved Airport Pickup arrangements.

Visa and flight confirmed

Student informs Study Vision that they have received their visa and confirms their flight details

Student Agreement issued

Study Vision issues a student agreement to the student including the homestay profile and airport pickup confirmation

Student Agreement is signed

Student and parents sign the Student Agreement and return it to Study Vision

Ready to Arrive

Your homestay is now booked and waiting for your arrival.

Notes:

  • While students are staying in a Study Vision arranged homestay, their rental will be managed by Study Vision. The Student will be invoiced for their continuing Rental every 4 weeks, until the student leaves the Homestay. The student should not pay any money directly to the homestay host.
  • all underage students studying at UNSW College are required by UNSW College to book an Airport Transfer service with their homestay provider when they arrive in Australia.
  • Study Vision will send the student an invoice at least 2 weeks before payment is due. This invoice needs to be paid on time, to make sure that the student can continue staying at this homestay.
  • Instructions on how to pay the continuing Rental are included in the invoice. If there are any issues with paying the continuing rental invoices, please contact Study Vision on +61 2 9669 5225 or on WeChat (study_vision, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, or studyvisionoz, 24 hours)
