General U18 Student Application
A general application guide for U18 students apply with Study Vision
1. Guardian required by school
School makes parents aware that all students under 18 years old need to have a qualified guardian until they turn 18
2. Determine if parents or approved relative will be in Australia
Will the student's parents or an approved relative be living with the student while they are in Australia?
If yes, no further action needed from school. The parents or relative can confirm welfare arrangement directly with the Department of Home Affairs.
3. Apply with Study Vision
If no to step 2, then student/parents/agent can submit an application with Study Vision online.
4. Invoice sent
Study Vision issues an invoice for the student's application fees, homestay rental, internet fees and guardianship fees to parents
5. Payment is made
Parents make payment to Study Vision
6. Receipt issued
Study Vision issues a receipt to the parents, and confirms with the school of the completion of the student's welfare arrangement
7. CAAW issued
School issues a CAAW to the student
8. Visa application
Student applies for their student visa
9. Visa received
Once the student has received their visa, they notify Study Vision of their confirmed flight details.
Please note, all U18 students must have approved Airport Pickup arrangements.
10. Student's booking with Study Vision is confirmed
Study Vision finalises the student's guardian and homestay accommodation and forwards all details to their school
11. Student Agreement issued
Study Vision issues a student agreement to the student including the homestay profile and airport pickup confirmation
12. Student Agreement is signed
Student and parents sign the Student Agreement and return it to Study Vision
13. Ready to Arrive
Your homestay is now booked and waiting for your arrival.
